Geographical location of Lang Co

Lang Co Bay is located in Phu Loc district, Thua Thien - Hue province, about more than 25km north of Da Nang city, and nearly 70km from Hue city. With such a prime location, visitors can combine a trip to Lang Co with a trip to Hue, or Da Nang - Hoi An.

By plane

Airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air or Bamboo Airways all have daily flights from major cities to Phu Bai airport (Hue) or Da Nang, ticket prices range from only 700,000 VND - 1,000,000 VND/way.

By train

Train is also one of the forms of transportation chosen by many tourists. In particular, the road passing through the Central provinces always has an irresistible attraction with its pristine natural scenery and majestic mountain areas.

You can catch the Thong Nhat train from Hanoi station to Da Nang for 370,000 VND/ way, travel time is about 14 hours. If you depart from Saigon, the trip will take about 8 hours with a price from 510,000 VND/ ticket.

Traveling by bus takes more time than by train, about 18 hours, but the ticket price for the Hanoi - Hue trip is only from 250,000 VND/ way, and 450,000 VND/ way if departing from Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, this is still a reasonable choice for a trip without too much money.

Travel from Hue/ Da Nang to Lang Co

From Hue or Da Nang, you can catch a taxi to Lang Co Bay, about 75km away. A journey of more than 1 hour will cost 800,000 VND. A more economical option is to reserve a car to pick you up at the airport, which will cost from 520,000 VND. This is a suitable choice for large groups of friends or families, because per person is not too expensive and convenient for transportation.

If you want to save money, you can take the Da Nang - Quang Tri bus, costing about 50,000 VND/ ticket, or the bus to Hue, stopping at Lang Co for 7,000 VND/ trip. However, this option will be inconvenient in terms of time because the bus route will only operate during fixed times from 5:30 to 17:00. If you only intend to visit Lang Co during the day, you need to pay attention to the time to make the return trip.
