Da Nang boasts pristine nature, all the amenities and attractions of a modern urban center, friendly people, and stunning architectural structures. Let's join HoaBinh Tourist to learn about and explore this beautiful coastal city through the following article.

Exploring Ba Na Hills—European Fairyland

Located in the Truong Son range, this entertainment complex can only be reached by cable car. It recreates a miniature European image for Vietnamese audiences by combining many pieces: in a charming French village, Roman centurions stand guard like statues and take photos with tourists. elegant and beautiful, like a truly forgotten castle.

Another iconic attraction of this complex is the Golden Bridge. Two moss-covered stone hands reach out from the hillside to lift a sparkling bridge, from which visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the astonishing beauty of Da Nang from above. Its breathtaking, surreal beauty inspired the bridge into Dream's realm in the Netflix series The Sandman.

Travel tip: Stay the night at an onsite hotel, then stroll the grounds before the park opens. When walking on the cobblestone streets, the slightly chilly air and thick white fog will take you to a fresh European morning in the heart of Vietnam.

My Khe Beach – Enjoy the sun, sea and sand

Da Nang is home to one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, and there are many of them: My Khe beach, in particular, stretches over 900 meters along the coast. Here, the sand sparkles in the cool, blue water, bathed in sunlight. You can splash around, swim in designated areas, or simply rent a deck chair, sit down with a good book, and relax under an umbrella. Fresh seafood is available at any of the restaurants along the street opposite.

Marble Mountains - A masterpiece of nature

The mountain is located 9 km outside Da Nang and is a group of five limestone peaks with a network of caves, tunnels, towers, and pagodas built by Mahayana Buddhists and Nguyen Dynasty kings.

Walking up the hills, passing different temples and caves, you will reach the top, where you can find the most beautiful views of the city and countryside. They are currently running a night tour at Marble Mountain that certainly offers a different experience than a day visit.

Museum of Cham Sculpture - A window to the past

If a day trip to My Son (69 km) is out of your budget, you can supplement your trip with a visit to the Museum of Cham Sculpture. Since 1915, the museum has kept artifacts from the old Champa Kingdom. You can see ornate depictions of the Hindu deities that once watched over their worshipers, made of terracotta and stone. The artifacts date mainly from the 7th to the 15th centuries.

Bridges in Da Nang - When traffic becomes entertainment

Two of Da Nang's bridges, the Han River Bridge and the Dragon Bridge, have more to offer than meets the eye. The Han River Bridge is lit up in colorful lights in the evening, attracting tourists, but an even more amazing sight takes place around midnight. At that time, the bridge rotates on its axis and opens to allow ships to pass.

The bridge stretching over 666 meters looks like a golden dragon, a symbol of royalty, luck, protection, and abundance. At 9 p.m. on weekends, people gather to watch the metal dragon spew fire and water from its mouth.

Con Market - The market has all the options

This market and shopping area was established in the 1940s and renovated in 1984 to its current form. There are over 2000 shops selling everything you need, from clothes, vegetables, shoes, antique watches, and local handicrafts to second-hand clothes. And this is definitely the place to sample the region's street foods, like jackfruit salad, tapioca cake, Quang noodles, and more.

This statue stands on top of a hill nearly 100 meters high; the lotus base is 35 meters wide, and the heart is 17 meters wide. There are about 21 statues of "Buddha on the right side of the Buddha" on the pedestal, one on each floor. This statue can reach an overall height of 67 meters.

According to Forbes Magazine, Non Nuoc Beach was ranked as one of the six most beautiful beaches in the world in 2015. It takes 8 km to get there from along the southeast side of the city center. The beach has a 5-kilometer-long coastline located at the foot of Ngu Hanh Son Mountain.

Non Nuoc Beach appears like a round, crystal-blue lake when viewed from above, surrounding the foot of Ngu Hanh Son Mountain. You can feel the gentle breeze, the clear blue water, the gentle slopes, the fine-sand beaches, and the bright sunshine.

Furthermore, the Non Nuoc Sea's temperature is cool all year round, with no rising or falling tides, making it very suitable for swimming and diving activities. You can stop at any of the small tents to lay back and spend time with family or friends while enjoying fresh seafood and drinks.

Admire Phap Lam Pagoda

Construction of Phap Lam Pagoda began in 1934. Over time, the pagoda took on a majestic and historic look. This tourist destination is only 3 km from Da Nang city, so travel is very convenient for tourists. Asian architectural styles are influenced by Buddhism.

The 1.1-meter-high sitting Buddha statue is one of the attractions at Phap Lam Pagoda in Da Nang. The temple's lecture hall can accommodate up to 100 people.
