Bac Sum Slope

Another challenging path for visitors located in Ha Giang Province. This slope is considered as a bridge connecting two provinces Vinh Xuyen and Quan Ba which has plenty of famous tourist destinations in Ha Giang.

The length of the slope is 7 kilometers and situated at an elevation of 450 meters. The length and winding curves of Bac Sum slope always leave visitors both overwhelmed and excited. Some people compare it to a giant, slippery snake slithering on steep rocky slopes. Others see it as a soft silk scarf draped over the mountainside. This is the longest slope of Ha Giang Province and brings the most difficult challenges for drivers.

Due to the distinct highland climate, Bac Sum slope is often covered in fog, and sometimes, you can even catch a glimpse of a sea of clouds beneath the mountain's foothills. On sunny days when the sky is clear and cloudless, Bac Sum slope reveals a vast expanse of green from the endless mountain ranges.

Along the way, if you travel during October and November, you'll come across a field of blooming buckwheat flowers. People often can't resist stopping to capture the magnificent and poetic scenery. Let me whisper to you that there is even more breathtaking beauty awaits ahead.
